Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity at Fidova is led by technical practice: we test and review real systems — applications, cloud, infrastructure, and binaries — rather than assess security from a questionnaire. What the testing finds is then translated into the risk decisions, priorities, and controls leadership can actually act on, with each finding carrying a severity, the evidence behind it, and clear remediation. We are explicit about our limits: we are not a certification body and do not claim accreditations we do not hold, though we can produce the technical evidence an audit or certification requires. Scope and rules of engagement are agreed in writing before any testing begins. The connected view matters because a finding that never becomes an operating control, with an owner and evidence, has not reduced any risk — which is where our governance practice takes over.

In short

Fidova's cybersecurity practice provides risk-led security advisory and hands-on technical assurance across applications, cloud and infrastructure, and security operations. We test and review real systems first, then translate what we find into the risk decisions, priorities, and controls leadership can act on, rather than issuing a report that ends at the finding.

What we do

The work inside cybersecurity.

Application and mobile security

Review and test web, API, and Android application security, including authentication, authorisation, data handling, and business logic abuse. We go beyond automated scanning to the logic flaws that scanners miss, because those are where real compromises tend to begin. Findings are tied to concrete impact, so a team knows what to fix first and why.

Penetration testing and technical assurance

Targeted testing of applications, infrastructure, and configurations, reported with clear severity, evidence, and remediation guidance. We agree targets, depth, and constraints up front, so the test answers a defined question rather than wandering. Each report pairs a decision-maker summary with the technical detail an engineer needs to act.

Reverse engineering and malware analysis

Deep technical analysis of binaries, samples, and suspicious behaviour when you need to understand what something actually does. We work from the artefact itself rather than its reputation, establishing behaviour, indicators, and exposure. The outcome is a factual account you can base an incident or design decision on.

Cloud and infrastructure security review

Assess identity, network exposure, configuration, logging, and segregation against how your environment is genuinely operated. We review the environment as it runs, not as an idealised diagram, because that is where misconfiguration accumulates. The result is a prioritised view of exposure matched to how the environment is actually used.

Threat intelligence and OSINT

Establish what is publicly exposed about your organisation, people, and infrastructure, and which threats are relevant rather than merely reported. We filter the noise down to what plausibly applies to you, so effort is not spent on threats that do not. The output is an exposure picture you can act on, not a feed to monitor.

Security programme and architecture advisory

Design security strategy, architecture, and operating practice proportionate to your risk, size, and obligations. We size the programme to what the organisation can genuinely operate, rather than to a maturity model it will never reach. The aim is security that holds as the organisation changes, not a one-off improvement that decays.

Sub-services

Every cybersecurity service, in detail.

Each service below has its own page setting out the work, the deliverables and the questions buyers ask before starting.

What you receive

Deliverables, in writing.

Every engagement produces documented output your teams keep and can act on without us in the room.

  • Agreed scope and rules of engagement before any testing begins
  • Technical test report: each finding with severity, evidence, impact and remediation
  • Executive summary written for decision-makers, not only for engineers
  • Cloud and infrastructure configuration review against how you actually operate
  • External exposure picture from OSINT, limited to threats relevant to you
  • Retest confirmation once fixes are in place

When this work helps

You may be facing this.

  • A product or platform is going live with untested security assumptions
  • A customer, investor, or insurer is asking for security evidence
  • Cloud environments have grown faster than the controls around them
  • An incident or suspicious activity needs technical understanding
  • Security spend is rising without a clear picture of risk reduction

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand what matters most, the obligations in play, and what the organisation is genuinely trying to protect. We agree scope and rules of engagement in writing here, so testing is bounded and authorised before it begins.

  2. 02

    Assess

Test and review the systems in scope, and establish real exposure rather than theoretical risk. We gather evidence for every finding, so severity reflects what we demonstrated rather than what is merely conceivable.

  3. 03

    Design

Prioritise remediation, control improvements, and architecture changes against risk and effort. We sequence the work so the exposures that matter most are closed first, within what the team can realistically do.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Support remediation, retest what was fixed, and help the practice hold as the environment changes. We confirm fixes actually closed the issue, rather than taking remediation on trust.

Where we work

Delhi, India — and wherever the work is.

Fidova delivers cybersecurity consulting and technical assurance from Delhi, India, and works with clients internationally; testing and review are performed remotely against your environments, with on-site work arranged when scope requires it.

Engagements run in English, are scheduled around your time zone, and can be delivered remotely end to end. Where a phase benefits from being in the room — discovery workshops, go-live support, or on-site review — we plan that time explicitly.
