About Fidova

Advice that sees the whole change.

Fidova brings technology, cybersecurity, governance, ESG, and finance into one advisory conversation—so important decisions are made with their dependencies visible.

Build with intent.
Secure with rigour.
Govern with clarity.

Our story

A security firm that grew into one connected practice.

Fidova started as a cybersecurity practice. The founder’s background in security research, reverse engineering and vulnerability work meant the first engagements were about finding what was broken and proving it — penetration testing, technical analysis, and hardening the systems clients already relied on.

Those clients soon asked a harder question: help us build it properly in the first place. Securing software you did not design has limits, so we moved upstream — into development, architecture and delivery, with security decided at the outset rather than bolted on afterwards. SAP, ERP and AI work followed as the build practice matured.

As that work reached boards, auditors and regulators, the question changed again — not only “is it secure?” but “can we prove it, report it, and stand behind the decision?” Governance, risk and compliance, ESG and finance advisory grew out of answering exactly that for the same clients.

Today Fidova spans eight consulting domains across three connected spans — Build, Secure and Govern. The security instinct it began with still runs through everything: evidence over assertion, dependencies mapped before decisions, and work built to withstand scrutiny.

First — Secure

A cybersecurity practice

Penetration testing, technical analysis and hardening — rooted in security research, reverse engineering and vulnerability work.

Then — Build

Development, SAP, ERP & AI

Clients asked us to build what we were securing, so we moved upstream — with security designed in from the start, not bolted on.

Now — Govern

GRC, ESG & Finance

Boards and auditors needed proof and reporting they could stand behind, so governance, ESG and finance advisory followed.

Founder

Pancham Narang

Founder & Cybersecurity Researcher

Pancham founded Fidova as a security practice and grew it, engagement by engagement, into the connected advisory it is today — from cybersecurity into development, and on to the full set of eight consulting domains.

He is a cybersecurity researcher and reverse engineer with hands-on work across malware analysis, Android application security, and vulnerability research.

His published areas of focus include penetration testing, threat intelligence, OSINT, HUMINT, and the analysis of real-world security threats. He brings that investigative mindset to Fidova’s broader work: understand the system, expose the dependencies, and design change that can withstand scrutiny.

That approach shapes how every engagement runs — evidence over assertion, decisions named before delivery starts, and work built to be handed back to your teams.

What Fidova is for

  • Independent counsel. No product to sell you and no implementation quota to fill.
  • Connected scope. Technology, security, governance, ESG and finance reasoned about together.
  • Complex change. Programmes where the decisions are consequential and the dependencies are not obvious.
  • Defensible outcomes. Work written to hold up in front of a board, an auditor or a regulator.

How we work

Six principles that shape every engagement.

01

Dependencies before decisions

Before recommending anything, we map what a choice touches — architecture, risk, controls, reporting, cost and the people who have to live with it. Most failed change was a reasonable decision made without its dependencies in view.

02

Decisions before delivery

Programmes rarely stall on engineering. They stall waiting for a decision nobody is clearly accountable for. We name the decisions, the owners and the dates first, then plan delivery around them.

03

Evidence that survives scrutiny

Findings, controls and claims are written so they hold up in front of an auditor, a regulator, a board or an acquirer — with severity, method, ownership and proof rather than assertion.

04

One advisory conversation

Technology, security, governance, ESG and finance are treated as one conversation instead of separate workstreams that reconcile late. You get a single view, not four opinions to arbitrate.

05

Designed for more than one jurisdiction

Obligations differ by market. We design controls, evidence and reporting to work across the jurisdictions you actually operate in, rather than assuming a single regulatory picture.

06

Built to be handed over

Every engagement ends with your teams able to run the work without us — documented decisions, named owners, working artefacts and the reasoning behind them.

Who we work with

The situations we are usually brought into.

Programmes under scrutiny

A large technology or ERP programme is behind, over budget, or losing confidence, and leadership needs an independent read on what is actually blocking it.

A first formal governance layer

Growth, funding, a large customer or a certification requirement means informal practice now has to become a documented, owned and evidenced control set.

Security hardening after a scare

An incident, a failed assessment or a customer security review has exposed gaps, and the response has to be prioritised rather than scattered.

Consolidation after growth or acquisition

Multiple systems, entities and ways of working need to become one operating model, with data, process and controls aligned.

AI adoption that has to hold up

Teams are already experimenting. The question is which use cases are defensible, what the data allows, and what oversight has to exist before anything reaches production.

Reporting leadership can rely on

Sustainability, financial or risk reporting needs defensible definitions, traceable numbers and claims that were tested before they were published.

Where we work

Based in Delhi, India. Working internationally.

Fidova Advisory is a consulting firm based in Delhi, India, advising organisations in India and across international markets on software development, SAP and ERP programmes, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, governance risk and compliance, ESG, and finance.

Our clients include organisations headquartered in India as well as teams in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, the United Kingdom, and North America. Most of the work is delivered remotely in English and scheduled around your time zone, with on-site time planned where a phase genuinely benefits from being in the room.

Because obligations differ by market, we design controls, reporting, and evidence to hold up in more than one jurisdiction at a time rather than assuming a single regulatory picture.

Our process

Structured enough to create clarity. Flexible enough for real change.

01

Discover

Understand the ambition, operating context, constraints, and decisions that matter before defining the work.

02

Assess

Examine the current state across technology, risk, governance, people, and financial dependencies.

03

Design

Create a practical path forward with clear priorities, ownership, controls, and measures of progress.

04

Deliver

Work alongside your teams to implement, assure, and improve the change as conditions evolve.

Engagement models

Four ways to work together.

Assessment and roadmap

Typically 3–8 weeks

A bounded review of the current state across the areas in question, ending in a prioritised roadmap with owners, sequencing and the decisions that unblock it.

Suits an unclear starting point, a second opinion on a plan, or preparing for a board or investor conversation.

Defined-scope programme

Scoped per phase

A specific outcome delivered end to end — an implementation, a migration, a control set, a reporting framework — with agreed deliverables, checkpoints and acceptance.

Suits work with a clear destination where you want accountability for the result, not just advice.

Advisory retainer

Monthly, rolling

Ongoing access for decision support, design review, risk questions and escalation, with an agreed rhythm of sessions and written positions on the decisions that matter.

Suits leadership teams making frequent consequential calls without in-house depth in every area.

Embedded support

For the length of a phase

We work inside your team for a defined phase — a cutover, an audit window, a remediation push — carrying real workload alongside your people.

Suits intense periods where capacity, not only direction, is the constraint.
