DevSecOps

We put security into your delivery pipeline with tuned tooling and thresholds engineers will accept, because checks that generate noise get switched off within weeks. We start with a small set of high-confidence rules that block, expand coverage as the noise falls, and route every finding to a named owner with a clear timeline. The scanning spans code, dependencies, containers and infrastructure-as-code rather than source alone. The result is a pipeline that catches issues at commit and that developers continue to trust.

In short

DevSecOps embeds security checks into the development pipeline so issues are found at commit rather than after release. It works only when the checks are tuned and their thresholds are ones engineers accept, because noisy gates are the first thing a team disables.

What we do

The work inside devsecops.

Pipeline security gates

We decide which checks merely warn and which block a build, so the pipeline stays both trusted and usable. Blocking on low-confidence findings erodes trust and gets the gate removed, so we reserve it for issues worth stopping a release. The design makes the security posture explicit rather than implicit.

Scanning coverage

We implement static analysis, dependency, container and infrastructure-as-code scanning with rules tuned to your stack. Containers and infrastructure code are frequently left unscanned even where application code is covered. Tuning the rules keeps the output credible so the findings are acted on rather than ignored.

Secret detection and rotation

We detect secrets committed to the codebase, support their removal, and establish a rotation practice so exposed credentials are actually replaced. A secret in version control is exposed to everyone with repository access and often to its full history. We put detection in the pipeline so new leaks are caught at commit.

Triage and ownership

We route each finding to a named owner with a service-level expectation, rather than letting it fall into a shared backlog nobody owns. Clear ownership is what turns scanner output into fixes. We define severity, timelines and reporting so accountability is explicit.

What you receive

Deliverables, in writing.

Documented output your teams keep and can act on without us in the room.

  • Pipeline gate design with blocking thresholds
  • Configured scanning across code, dependencies, containers and infrastructure
  • Secret detection and rotation procedure
  • Triage workflow with named owners and timelines

When this work helps

You may be facing this.

  • Security findings arrive only from annual penetration tests
  • Scanning is enabled but nobody acts on the output
  • Container and infrastructure code are unscanned

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand what matters most, the obligations in play, and what the organisation is genuinely trying to protect. We agree scope and rules of engagement in writing here, so testing is bounded and authorised before it begins.

  2. 02

    Assess

Test and review the systems in scope, and establish real exposure rather than theoretical risk. We gather evidence for every finding, so severity reflects what we demonstrated rather than what is merely conceivable.

  3. 03

    Design

Prioritise remediation, control improvements, and architecture changes against risk and effort. We sequence the work so the exposures that matter most are closed first, within what the team can realistically do.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Support remediation, retest what was fixed, and help the practice hold as the environment changes. We confirm fixes actually closed the issue, rather than taking remediation on trust.

Where we work

Delhi, India — and wherever the work is.

Fidova delivers cybersecurity consulting and technical assurance from Delhi, India, and works with clients internationally; testing and review are performed remotely against your environments, with on-site work arranged when scope requires it.

Engagements run in English, are scheduled around your time zone, and can be delivered remotely end to end, with on-site time planned where a phase genuinely benefits from being in the room.
