Financial Modeling & Forecasting

We build financial models that are transparent and testable: inputs separated cleanly from logic, calculations that can be followed, scenario capability built into the structure, and no hidden hardcodes buried in formulas. The three statements are integrated so profit, balance sheet and cash flow stay internally consistent under any scenario. Where a model already exists, we can review it for the broken links, inconsistent periods and silent overrides that quietly change the answer. It matters because decisions, funding and valuations increasingly rest on a single model that a funder or buyer will eventually pull apart.

In short

Financial modelling builds transparent, auditable models for decisions, funding and valuation. A model nobody can fully explain is a liability, however sophisticated it looks.

What we do

The work inside financial modeling & forecasting.

Model design

We structure inputs, calculations and outputs as distinct layers so the model can be reviewed, audited and handed over. Mixing assumptions into formulas is the single most common cause of models that cannot be trusted. A disciplined structure makes the logic visible and the errors findable.

Three-statement integration

We link profit, balance sheet and cash flow so the results are internally consistent and the cash implications of every assumption are explicit. A model that projects profit without a balancing cash flow hides the question that usually matters most. Integration is what turns a forecast into something a funder will accept.

Scenario and sensitivity

We build scenarios and sensitivities into the structure rather than duplicating the file each time a variable changes. This keeps a single source of truth and makes it straightforward to see which assumptions the answer is most exposed to. Decision-makers can then focus attention where the model is genuinely sensitive.

Model review and documentation

We review existing models for error and document the assumptions and logic so others can rely on the work. Review frequently finds broken links, hardcoded overrides and inconsistent period logic that materially change the conclusion. We report the findings plainly and rebuild where the structure will not support what is being asked of it.

What you receive

When this work helps

You may be facing this.

  • Decisions rest on a model nobody can fully explain
  • Multiple versions of the model disagree
  • A funder or buyer will review your model

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the decision, the financial context, and how finance currently operates. We establish exactly what question the engagement must answer, so a business-case review and a process redesign are not confused with one another.

  2. 02

    Assess

Review the case, processes, controls, and reporting against what the organisation needs to rely on. We report where the numbers and processes are dependable and where they rest on assumptions that will not hold under pressure.

  3. 03

    Design

Set out the financial approach, process design, control set, and reporting model. Definitions, ownership, and controls are documented so the improvement does not depend on us remaining involved.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Support implementation, then track cost and benefit against what was approved. We measure realised value against the criteria agreed at the outset, so the decision is held to account rather than forgotten.
