Sustainable Supply Chain Management

We build supplier sustainability programmes that are proportionate and verifiable, grounded in tiering, standards, data collection and engagement rather than codes of conduct nobody reads. Effort is directed by spend, risk and the leverage you actually hold, because blanket demands on every supplier tend to produce paperwork rather than change. We collect data in proportion to each tier and verify the highest-risk suppliers, and we favour working with suppliers on improvement over delisting as the first response. The result is a programme that improves the information behind your scope 3 and social claims and can be defended to customers who ask.

In short

Sustainable supply chain management sets and verifies environmental and social expectations across your suppliers. The test of such a programme is whether the expectations are verified in practice, not whether a code of conduct has been signed.

What we do

The work inside sustainable supply chain management.

Supplier segmentation

We tier suppliers by spend, risk and the influence you hold, so effort concentrates where it can actually change something. Segmentation is what keeps a programme from spreading thinly across hundreds of suppliers and achieving nothing with any of them.

Standards and contractual terms

We set expectations you can genuinely verify and reference them in contracts, so they carry weight. Terms you can evidence and enforce are worth more than an ambitious code that sits unread in a supplier's files.

Data collection and verification

We collect supplier data in proportion to each tier and verify the highest-risk suppliers rather than trusting self-declaration alone. Proportionate verification is what lets you rely on the data for your own disclosures without burdening suppliers who pose little risk.

Engagement and corrective action

We work with suppliers on improvement through a defined corrective-action process, keeping delisting as a last resort. Engagement usually fixes the underlying issue, whereas delisting simply moves the problem to a supplier you can no longer see.

What you receive

Deliverables, in writing.

Documented output your teams keep and can act on without us in the room.

  • Supplier segmentation and risk tiering
  • Supplier code and contractual clauses
  • Data collection approach with verification for key suppliers
  • Engagement and corrective action process

When this work helps

You may be facing this.

  • Customers are asking about your supply chain practices
  • Scope 3 data depends on estimates you cannot improve
  • A supplier issue has created reputational exposure

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand your sector, stakeholders, existing commitments, and the requests you are receiving. We establish who is asking you for ESG information and what you have already committed to publicly, so the work answers real pressure rather than a generic checklist.

  2. 02

    Assess

Review material topics, current data, governance, and the gap to the reporting you need to produce. We report plainly where your current numbers would not withstand scrutiny and what it would take to close the gap.

  3. 03

    Design

Define metrics, ownership, data flows, controls, and a reporting approach you can repeat. The design fixes how each number is produced and who owns it, so reporting becomes a repeatable process rather than an annual scramble.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Implement the measurement and governance changes, and review disclosures against the evidence. We test every public claim against its source before publication, so what you disclose is what you can defend.
