Sustainability Reporting

We run sustainability reporting cycles end to end, from collection and validation through drafting and review, so each year is faster and more consistent than the last. Much of the pain in reporting comes from spreadsheets, last-minute chasing and site data arriving in incompatible units, so we fix the process rather than heroically rescue each cycle. We validate against prior periods and explain variances before publication, and we handle definition changes and restatements openly. Over successive cycles the aim is a report that gets quicker to produce and harder to fault.

In short

Sustainability reporting communicates environmental and social performance to investors, customers and regulators with consistent data. Consistency across sites and years is what lets readers compare, and comparability is where most reports quietly fail.

What we do

The work inside sustainability reporting.

Reporting calendar and ownership

We set a calendar with named contributors and approval points for each section, so the cycle runs to a plan rather than a deadline panic. When people know what they owe and when, the chasing that dominates most reporting largely disappears.

Multi-site data collection

We collect from sites and entities using consistent definitions and disciplined unit handling, so figures can be aggregated without silent errors. Inconsistent units and local interpretations are a common source of misstatement, and standardising them at source removes it.

Validation and comparability

We validate each figure against prior periods and explain the variances before anything is published. A movement you can account for is a sign of control; one you discover after publication is a credibility problem.

Restatement handling

We handle definition changes and restatements transparently, with a clear note rather than a quiet correction. Explaining a restatement openly protects trust, whereas an unexplained change in the numbers invites exactly the scrutiny you want to avoid.

What you receive

Deliverables, in writing.

Documented output your teams keep and can act on without us in the room.

  • Reporting calendar with owners and approvals
  • Consistent data collection templates and guidance
  • Validation and variance analysis
  • Published report with restatement notes where needed

When this work helps

You may be facing this.

  • Reporting depends on spreadsheets and last-minute chasing
  • Site data arrives in inconsistent units and definitions
  • Year-on-year figures are not comparable

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand your sector, stakeholders, existing commitments, and the requests you are receiving. We establish who is asking you for ESG information and what you have already committed to publicly, so the work answers real pressure rather than a generic checklist.

  2. 02

    Assess

Review material topics, current data, governance, and the gap to the reporting you need to produce. We report plainly where your current numbers would not withstand scrutiny and what it would take to close the gap.

  3. 03

    Design

Define metrics, ownership, data flows, controls, and a reporting approach you can repeat. The design fixes how each number is produced and who owns it, so reporting becomes a repeatable process rather than an annual scramble.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Implement the measurement and governance changes, and review disclosures against the evidence. We test every public claim against its source before publication, so what you disclose is what you can defend.
