Carbon Accounting & GHG Emissions Assessment

We build greenhouse gas inventories with defined organisational boundaries, documented emission factors and an audit trail that runs from source data to the reported total. Reproducibility is the standard we work to, because an inventory that cannot be rebuilt a year later cannot be verified or improved. We are explicit about which scope 3 categories are included and why, and we record factor versions and sources so the calculation stands up to challenge. Where data is weak we start with activity and spend-based estimates and improve quality over time, disclosing method and limitations throughout.

In short

Carbon accounting quantifies greenhouse gas emissions across scopes 1, 2 and 3 with documented boundaries and factors. A credible inventory is one that can be reproduced from the same source data by someone who did not build it.

What we do

The work inside carbon accounting & ghg emissions assessment.

Boundary and scope definition

We set the organisational and operational boundaries and state clearly which scope 3 categories are included and which are not. An explicit boundary is what makes a total comparable year to year and defensible when a customer or verifier questions it.

Activity data collection

We collect fuel, energy, travel, freight and purchased-goods data with sources that can be traced back to a meter, invoice or system record. Traceable activity data is the foundation of the whole inventory, because a factor applied to an unsupported quantity is still an unsupported number.

Emission factors and calculation

We apply recognised emission factors with their versions and sources recorded against each calculation. Documenting the factor used, and when, is what lets the inventory be reproduced and updated rather than rebuilt from scratch.

Data quality and verification readiness

We assess data quality category by category and prepare the pack a third-party verifier will request. Flagging where data is strong and where it rests on estimates lets the verification focus on the areas that matter and keeps the engagement efficient.

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand your sector, stakeholders, existing commitments, and the requests you are receiving. We establish who is asking you for ESG information and what you have already committed to publicly, so the work answers real pressure rather than a generic checklist.

  2. 02

    Assess

Review material topics, current data, governance, and the gap to the reporting you need to produce. We report plainly where your current numbers would not withstand scrutiny and what it would take to close the gap.

  3. 03

    Design

Define metrics, ownership, data flows, controls, and a reporting approach you can repeat. The design fixes how each number is produced and who owns it, so reporting becomes a repeatable process rather than an annual scramble.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Implement the measurement and governance changes, and review disclosures against the evidence. We test every public claim against its source before publication, so what you disclose is what you can defend.
