Warehouse Management

We design warehouse processes in the ERP around your physical layout and order profile rather than a generic model. Location and zone structure, putaway and picking strategies are shaped to reduce travel for the orders you actually handle, so the design earns its keep in labour rather than on paper. Recording movements by scanning at the point they happen keeps stock locations trustworthy and catches errors before goods leave the building. We then build dispatch checks and performance reporting, because accuracy and throughput are far cheaper to protect at the pick face than to recover through returns and credits.

In short

ERP warehouse management controls locations, putaway, picking and dispatch within the four walls. It is where system accuracy meets physical reality, so a design that ignores the actual layout and order profile rarely survives contact with the floor.

What we do

The work inside warehouse management.

Location structure

We design zones and locations matched to product characteristics and movement volume, so fast lines sit where they save the most walking. A structure that reflects how goods actually move is the foundation every picking and putaway gain builds on.

Putaway and picking strategy

We configure putaway and picking strategies that cut travel for your specific order profile rather than a textbook one. For many operations this is the largest single lever on warehouse labour, because travel, not picking, is where the time goes.

Scanning and mobile execution

We record movements by scanning at the point they occur, so the system reflects the floor in real time rather than after a later keying exercise. Capturing movement where it happens is what keeps stock locations reliable and removes the lag that hides errors.

Dispatch and performance

We design dispatch checks, including scan verification at pick and pack, and report on accuracy and throughput. Catching the wrong item before it ships is far cheaper than handling the return, the credit and the lost confidence afterwards.

What you receive

When this work helps

You may be facing this.

  • Pickers cannot find stock the system shows as available
  • Wrong items are dispatched to customers
  • Warehouse layout changed but the system did not

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the business drivers, decision rights, existing systems, and what the programme must genuinely change. We separate the outcomes that justify the investment from features that only sound useful, so the programme has a purpose to steer by.

  2. 02

    Assess

Review process, data, integration, controls, governance, and change readiness against the plan. We report plainly where the plan holds and where it depends on assumptions that need evidence before commitment.

  3. 03

    Design

Set out target processes, control requirements, data approach, integration model, and adoption plan. Each is documented well enough to build to and to hold a delivery partner accountable against.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Support configuration, testing, cutover, and stabilisation, with independent oversight throughout. We hold the line on scope, data readiness, and controls, and surface drift while there is still time to correct it.
