Frontend Development

We build frontends that stay maintainable as they grow — a real component system, predictable state handling, measured performance and accessibility built in. A reusable component layer with shared tokens keeps new screens consistent and cheap to add, rather than each one being drawn afresh. Server data, caching and form state are structured so the interface stays predictable under real use. Performance budgets and accessibility are held as acceptance criteria and measured on representative devices, so neither becomes a remediation project after launch.

In short

Frontend development builds the interface layer: component structure, state, performance and accessibility across devices. Done well it is invisible; done poorly it is the first thing every user notices.

What we do

The work inside frontend development.

Component and design system work

We build a reusable component layer with tokens for colour, type and spacing so screens stay consistent. A shared set of components means a change to a pattern propagates everywhere instead of being reapplied by hand. New screens are then assembled from known parts, which is faster to build and easier to keep coherent.

State and data handling

We structure server data, caching and form state so the interface stays predictable under real use. Most confusing interface behaviour is really a state problem, where the screen and the data fall out of step. Handling it deliberately keeps the application honest about what it is showing.

Performance budgets

We set and hold limits on bundle size, rendering cost and interaction latency, measured on representative devices. A budget turns performance from a vague aspiration into a line the build is not allowed to cross. Measuring on mid-range hardware keeps the stated experience and the real one from diverging.

Accessibility and responsive behaviour

We ensure keyboard use, focus order, contrast and layout hold from small phones to wide screens. Accessibility is treated as part of building correctly, which also tends to satisfy procurement and legal requirements as a by-product. The same discipline keeps the layout usable across the range of real screens rather than only the designer's.

What you receive

Deliverables, in writing.

Documented output your teams keep and can act on without us in the room.

  • Component library and design tokens
  • State and data-fetching architecture
  • Performance budget with before-and-after measurements
  • Accessibility review with fixes applied

When this work helps

You may be facing this.

  • Every new screen is built from scratch and looks slightly different
  • The interface feels slow on mid-range phones
  • Accessibility has been raised in a review or procurement questionnaire

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the outcome, users, constraints, and the decisions that must be made before code direction is set. We spend this time with the people who own the result and the people who will build it, so scope reflects both.

  2. 02

    Assess

Examine the current architecture, delivery practice, integration surface, and engineering risk. We establish where the genuine difficulty lies, rather than accepting the risk the team already happens to worry about most.

  3. 03

    Design

Define the technical approach, delivery plan, quality gates, and ownership model in writing. Committing it to writing means the reasoning behind each decision survives staff change and supplier handover.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Work with your teams through build and release, adjusting the plan as evidence emerges rather than defending the original estimate. We keep the quality gates and progress evidence in place so leadership can watch the build land.

Where we work

Delhi, India — and wherever the work is.

Fidova provides software development consulting from Delhi, India, and works with product and engineering teams internationally — across India, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, the UK, and North America — remotely, with on-site time where the work needs it.

Engagements run in English, are scheduled around your time zone, and can be delivered remotely end to end, with on-site time planned where a phase genuinely benefits from being in the room.
