Artificial Intelligence · Build

AI Strategy & Consulting

We help leadership separate the AI opportunities that hold up under scrutiny from those that merely sound current, and we are candid when the honest answer is that AI is the wrong instrument. Our starting point is the decision each use case would change and the cost of getting it wrong, not the technology. From there we set out the data, security, oversight and capability a responsible deployment requires before any build begins. The result is a position leadership can defend to a board, a regulator or a customer.

In short

AI strategy and consulting decides where artificial intelligence is worth using in your organisation, and what it will take to run it responsibly. It is as much about the cases to decline as the ones to pursue.

What we do

The work inside ai strategy & consulting.

Opportunity assessment

We review candidate use cases against the value at stake, the data available, the risk carried and the cost of being wrong. Each case is scored on evidence rather than appetite, and we are explicit about those that should be ruled out. The outcome is a shortlist leadership can commit to with confidence.

Data readiness

We establish what your data genuinely supports today and what would have to change before a use case is viable. This covers coverage, quality, labelling, lineage and the permissions attached to the data. Knowing this early prevents expensive builds that stall on data that was never fit for the task.

Build, buy or adopt

We decide between a vendor feature, a hosted model and custom development on comparative evidence rather than enthusiasm. Vendor accuracy claims are treated as claims until tested against your own examples. The recommendation weighs cost, lock-in, control and the realistic effort to operate each option.

Roadmap and capability

We sequence the work so that early results are provable and fund the next step rather than promising everything at once. Alongside the sequence we name the skills, roles and governance needed to sustain what is built. This keeps momentum without creating systems nobody can maintain.

What you receive

Deliverables, in writing.

Documented output your teams keep and can act on without us in the room.

  • Prioritised use case assessment with cases explicitly ruled out
  • Data readiness position per use case
  • Build-or-buy recommendation with cost and risk comparison
  • Roadmap with capability requirements and decision points

When this work helps

You may be facing this.

  • Every function is proposing AI pilots with no shared basis for choosing
  • A board or investor question about AI needs a defensible answer
  • Pilots have been built but nothing has reached production

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the workflow, the data available, the constraints, and what a good outcome would look like. We establish the problem precisely enough to judge whether AI is even the right instrument for it.

  2. 02

    Assess

Review data protection, security, oversight, and feasibility for the specific use cases on the table. We report which cases are worth building, which are better solved another way, and what would have to be true to proceed safely.

  3. 03

    Design

Set out the approach, controls, governance, and evaluation measures before build begins. Deciding data boundaries, oversight, and how success will be measured up front keeps them from becoming retrofits.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Support implementation and evaluate performance, error modes, and control effectiveness in use. We measure the system against the criteria agreed at design, and report honestly where it falls short.

Where we work

Delhi, India — and wherever the work is.

Fidova advises on AI adoption and AI governance from Delhi, India, and works with organisations internationally, including teams that must satisfy overlapping regimes such as India's data protection law, the EU AI Act, and GDPR.

Engagements run in English, are scheduled around your time zone, and can be delivered remotely end to end, with on-site time planned where a phase genuinely benefits from being in the room.
