SAP S/4HANA Implementation

We implement S/4HANA with the process design, data preparation and adoption work given the same weight as the technical build. In practice the technology rarely fails on its own; programmes stumble on designs that drift from standard, on master data that was never cleansed, and on people who were trained on navigation rather than their own work. We run design against standard process capability, prepare and validate data before migration rather than during it, and keep extensions out of the core and under a documented standard. The result we aim for is a system that reconciles, performs on real volumes and is actually used as designed.

In short

S/4HANA implementation delivers SAP's current ERP suite with process design, data and adoption planned alongside the technical build. It is as much a business redesign as a technology project, and treating it only as the latter is the most common way it goes wrong.

What we do

The work inside sap s/4hana implementation.

Fit-to-standard design

We run design workshops against standard process capability, so the default answer is to adopt the standard and the exception is a justified, approved deviation. This keeps the solution close to what SAP maintains, which lowers the cost of every future upgrade and reduces the testing burden at each release.

Data preparation

We cleanse, enrich and validate master and transactional data before migration, not in the cutover window when there is no time to fix anything. Profiling the data early also exposes process problems that would otherwise surface as go-live incidents, so the business inherits a clean starting position.

Extension governance

We keep extensions out of the digital core and under a documented approval standard, built on released APIs and side-by-side patterns. The outcome is a core that stays upgradeable and a clear register of what was built, why, and who owns it.

Testing, cutover and hypercare

We plan integration and acceptance testing around end-to-end processes, rehearse the cutover until its timings are predictable, and arrange hypercare so the first weeks are supported rather than improvised. This turns go-live from a leap of faith into a rehearsed, evidenced event with a known fallback.

What you receive

Deliverables, in writing.

Documented output your teams keep and can act on without us in the room.

  • Fit-to-standard design documentation with approved deviations
  • Data readiness assessment and cleansing plan
  • Extension register with governance decisions
  • Cutover plan, test evidence and hypercare arrangements

When this work helps

You may be facing this.

  • A greenfield or new S/4HANA implementation is being planned
  • Design workshops are producing customisation requests instead of decisions
  • Data quality has not been assessed

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the business drivers, decision rights, existing systems, and what the programme is genuinely expected to change. We separate the outcomes that justify the investment from the features that merely sound desirable, so the programme has a clear purpose to steer by.

  2. 02

    Assess

Review process, data, integration, controls, governance, and change readiness against the plan. We report where the plan is sound and where it rests on assumptions that will not survive contact with delivery.

  3. 03

    Design

Set out the target processes, control requirements, data approach, integration model, and adoption plan. Each is documented well enough for a system integrator to build to and for you to hold them to it.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Support the programme through configuration, testing, cutover, and stabilisation with independent oversight. We keep the line on scope, data readiness, and controls while the integrator delivers, and flag drift while it is still correctable.
