ERP Testing & Quality Assurance

We test ERP against complete, end-to-end business processes rather than isolated screens, using realistic data and keeping traceable evidence of what was run. The exception paths — the returns, the part-shipments, the credit holds — get as much attention as the happy path, because that is where production breaks. Acceptance testing is run by the people who will do the work daily, since only they can judge process fit and usability. Defects are governed by severity against a go-live threshold agreed in advance, so the decision to proceed is made on evidence rather than negotiated under pressure.

In short

ERP testing and quality assurance verifies that configuration, integrations and processes work end to end before go-live. It is the discipline most often compressed to protect a date, which is precisely why the exceptions it should catch instead surface in production.

What we do

The work inside erp testing & quality assurance.

Test strategy and scenarios

We define the scope and build end-to-end scenarios covering both normal and exception paths, so testing mirrors how the business actually runs. Scenarios that include the awkward cases are what stop the awkward cases becoming go-live incidents.

Integration and acceptance testing

We test interfaces end to end and run acceptance testing with the people who will use the system daily, not the project team. Only the people who do the work can confirm the process fits and surface the exceptions configuration testing misses.

Regression and performance testing

We build a regression pack so fixes do not quietly break what already worked, and we test at period-end data volumes. Proving performance at month-end scale before go-live avoids the close that grinds to a halt on day one.

Defect governance

We manage defects with severity ratings, traceability and a go-live threshold agreed in advance. Setting the bar beforehand is what keeps the go-live decision objective rather than negotiated away under deadline pressure.

What you receive

Deliverables, in writing.

Documented output your teams keep and can act on without us in the room.

  • Test strategy and scenario set
  • Integration and acceptance test results with evidence
  • Regression pack and performance test results
  • Defect register with go-live criteria assessment

When this work helps

You may be facing this.

  • Testing is being compressed to protect the date
  • Business users are not involved in acceptance testing
  • Volume and period-end performance are untested

How an engagement runs

Discover, assess, design, deliver.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the business drivers, decision rights, existing systems, and what the programme must genuinely change. We separate the outcomes that justify the investment from features that only sound useful, so the programme has a purpose to steer by.

  2. 02

    Assess

Review process, data, integration, controls, governance, and change readiness against the plan. We report plainly where the plan holds and where it depends on assumptions that need evidence before commitment.

  3. 03

    Design

Set out target processes, control requirements, data approach, integration model, and adoption plan. Each is documented well enough to build to and to hold a delivery partner accountable against.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Support configuration, testing, cutover, and stabilisation, with independent oversight throughout. We hold the line on scope, data readiness, and controls, and surface drift while there is still time to correct it.
